The AVE Reclamation Facility Roadmap

Phase 1: Financial & Regulatory Foundation (Active)

• Status: In Progress

• Goal: Secure initial 501(c)(3) operational funding and verify all PayPal/Banking "pipes."

• Current Task: Completing Federal and State non-profit financial verifications.

Phase 2: Site Selection & Zoning Investigation

• The Search: Seeking 2.0 acres of land in North Texas (Collin/Denton County).

• Compliance Target: Property must meet Heavy Industrial (I-2 or I-3) zoning or be eligible for a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for "Automotive Reclamation."

• Zoning Requirements: * Minimum 50-foot setback from public right-of-way.

  • 8-foot solid barrier screening/fencing (Natural earth tones per Texas code).

  • No location within 1,000 feet of downstream lakes or tributaries.

Phase 3: EPA & TCEQ Environmental Licensing

Before a single battery enters the site, we are researching the following "Green" protocols:

• TCEQ Notice of Intent (NOI): Filing to operate a "Source-Separated Recycling Facility."

• Stormwater Permit (TXR050000): Ensuring zero contaminated runoff from battery storage areas.

• Universal Waste Management: Registering as a "Large Quantity Handler" if storage exceeds 11,000 lbs of battery components.
